Kim Carter's practice includes defending companies in class action and single plaintiff litigation, arbitration and mediation. She defends companies facing claims for discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and wage and hour violations. Kim also regularly guides companies in making difficult day to day decisions that impact their employees, from understanding leave laws to having performance conversations, investigations, and compliance with all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to joining Schor Vogelzang & Chung, Kim practiced with several mid-sized firms, always including an emphasis on employment law. Kim regularly presents on topics related to compliance with existing and ever-changing laws.
